
Welcome to the "Computational Nanophotonics" Junior Research Group led by Jens Förstner (link to CV) .
With quantum theories covering several areas of physics we describe the interplay of electrodynamical, electronic and thermal/vibrational effects in solids structured on the nanometer scale. A particular focus are nonlinear optical properties of these nanostructures. Current systems under investigation are:
