The orientation week for first-semester students typically takes place one week before the official start of their studies. During these days you will get to know the university and its offers, important contacts for your degree programme and the city of Paderborn. Furthermore, you will receive important information on how to create a timetable, help for a successful start into your studies and tips & tricks from students in higher semesters.

Every winter semester we try to organise a day together with the physics education students in the first semester. Students studying to become teachers can find more information in the PLAZ information.

In the Physics Department, the Student Representative Committee and the Learning Center Physics Team organise the orientation week.
