On the 16th of January Andreas Christ successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "Theory of ultrafast waveguided parametric down-conversion: From fundamentals to applications" and was awarded the "Dr. rer. nat" degree by the Faculty of Science at the University of Paderborn.
He is the first graduate student to do so in the IQO group in Paderborn and we are looking forward to the upcoming dissertations in the next years.
