Last week, three of our female scientists attended the Workshop “PHOTONICS FUTURE. Profound | Equal | Inclusive” which took place for the second time in Bad Driburg. The 1,5-day workshop was organized as a joint event between the Institute for Photonic Quantum Systems (PhoQS) and the CRC TRR 142. During the workshop, renowned female scientists were invited to share their latest research results and to present insights into their career paths. The talks were followed by inspiring and fruitful discussions in a safe environment.
This event was an excellent opportunity to listen to and learn from other people’s experiences. It was further a great chance to discuss about a gender-equal scientific world and how to create a welcoming environment for all kind of scientists without any boundaries.
