We visited the first fall meeting of the DPG in Freiburg. Frederik Thiele gave a talk on his results on a polarisation converter in lithium niobate at cryogenic temperatures. In a poster session Julian Brockmeier, Nina Lange, Maximilian Protte and Timon Schapeler presented their work on pump suppression for nonlinear processes, a SPDC source for cryogenic temperatures based on periodically poled lithium niobate, a hybrid platform based on silicon and lithium niobate and the tomography of superconducting detectors.
