Quan­tum tele­por­ta­ti­on with dis­si­mi­lar quan­tum dots over a hy­brid quan­tum net­work

Long-distance quantum teleportation using two engineered, dissimilar quantum dots, is demonstrated. The network combines fiber links with a 270 m free-space channel stabilized and synchronized via GPS. The system reaches 82 ± 1% fidelity, clearly surpassing the classical limit, showing the feasibility of solid-state quantum relays.

Ex­pe­ri­men­tal mea­su­re­ment of the reap­pea­ran­ce of Ra­bi ro­ta­ti­ons in se­mi­con­duc­tor quan­tum dots

In quantum emitters -driven resonantly- phonons dampen the Rabi oscillations resulting in reduced preparation fidelities. The phonon spectral density, quantifying the strength of the carrier-phonon interaction, is non-monotonous as a function of energy. This leads to the reappearance of Rabi rotations for increasing pulse power, demonstrated here.
