OSA Quantum 2.0

OSA’s Quantum 2.0 conference took place online from 14th -17th of September. IQO was there to present our recent work on the truly scalable generation of GHZ states and quantum limited multi-parameter estimation. The former uses time-multiplexing and active feed-forward to overcome the exponentially bad scaling of multi-photon state generation, whilst the latter demonstrates quantum-limited performance of an experiment that estimates the timing separation, inequal intensities and arrival time centroid of two incoherent emitters. Our innovative approaches led to inspiring and fruitful discussions and were generally commended for being clever solutions to complex problems. Corresponding journal publications are currently in preparation and are expected to appear soon.
