On behalf of all physics students, the Physics Student Council at the University of Paderborn once again awarded the “Golden Chalk” for the best lecture at the Christmas party on December 18. The 2025 prize was handed to Dr. Benjamin Brecht.
With this award, the students particularly recognized Benjamin Brecht's extraordinary ability to break down complex physical concepts in an understandable way and convey them clearly. They also highlighted his confident and friendly manner in responding spontaneously to technical questions from the lecture hall, which significantly promotes discourse and cooperation among students during the lectures.
Another decisive factor in the selection was the outstanding quality of the provided materials: the lecture notes and exercises are outstanding due to the great care, clarity, and didactic quality, and provide students with lasting support in the learning process.
