Insights into laboratories | Many visitors on World Quantum Day

This year's World Quantum Day took place last Friday. In addition to an online program, which can still be viewed on the event page, scientists from Paderborn University offered insights into optics laboratories and clean rooms on the afternoon of April 14. With about 50 visitors, this offer was very well received.

The first visitors arrived punctually at 3 p.m. and were pleased about the "opportunity that does not come along every day". In the course of the afternoon, interested people of all ages took part in the laboratory tours. The scientists involved were happy about the number of visitors. Students and university staff also took advantage of the opportunity to see rooms that are not accessible in everyday life. Over coffee and cookies, visitors were able to talk to scientists outside the laboratories. The last guests left the university building after 6 p.m. and thanked for "the exciting afternoon".
