Pupils show how to explain “Phänomen(al)” - award ceremony in the competition for creative explanatory videos

Creative explanatory videos that are not only technically correct, but also vivid, relevant to everyday life and appropriate for the target audience: these were all requirements that the participants in the “Phenomenon(al) Explained” competition had to meet. On September 19, 2024, the best entries were finally awarded prizes at a festive awards ceremony:

First place went to Lisa Staub, whose video clearly explained how an electronic toy works using the laws of the electric circuit. Jette Reelsen took second place with her video on the question “Why can't metal go in the microwave?”. Both winners received cash prizes sponsored by MLP.

The Physics Education working group would like to congratulate both winners on their success.
